This painting will always be a big part of my heart.
One of my favorite paintings I did of Vermeer, also one of the first Vermeer paintings I did.
There’s always so much to look at. The amount of detail from different tones to colors, surfaces, planes, and forms that gradually bend from one and merge into another. Like they are one and as a whole.

Indeed he’s a great master for sure!
Though unfortunate that he is no longer with us in this world. But fortunate because he did leave behind a message for many of us to hear, see, and think about. And we all see it from our own different perspective.
We hear him whisper to us from within his paintings. Through his vibrant and mesmerizing brush strokes and colors, he left behind.

So if you guys want to meet him, go see him, he’s still here with us.
Not in the human form but in the art form.
